Veriu Collingwood

Veriu hotel is very clean, modern and smells good. Yes, the whole place smells very good, I don't know how but there's this beautiful scent in the entire building including the lift. The room is actually a decent size, I was worried that it may be too small based on previous reviews but I was glad to find out it's perfect for me as a single besides if you are not in the room most of the time, it's not so bad. I liked the jacuzzi after a long day out, nice way to relax before bed but it shuts at 10pm. Great location too of the building, in the heart of Collingwood with lots of restaurants, vegan restaurants, cafés, bars, unique boutiques and supermarkets. You can never run out of option. Tram 86 is only 3 mins walk away and it takes you directly to Carlton gardens and the city in like 15 mins. Staff were friendly and room service was great. Overall I highly recommend Veriu apartment hotel.

Location was excellent, ease of parking, staff were helpful and courteous and the reception area was cool and welcoming. The room was compact but had everything I needed for an overnight stay including a large fridge, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine with pods and the bathroom which was highly functional, without wasting money on incidentals I didn't need. Washing machine would be useful for longer stays but without a seperate space to work/sit, I'd opt for a larger room for 3+day stays.

Location was perfect as well as having secure parking on site (ensure to book in advance as there are limited spaces), Easy to access public transport also to explore. Food spots just outside your door. Otherwise the place in its self is immaculate for a 4 Star hotel, facilities are amazing/clean. Yes you're in a busy part of the city but the soundproofing is second to none as soon as you slide your door close. Our room was spacious and comfy! Would Definitely recommend this hotel if needing to stay in Collingwood to near the city. Super value for money!

The room was spotless, the bed firm (perfect for me) and there was a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, oven, stove, nespresso coffee pod machine and separate washing machine and dryer. If you had to stay for a more than a few days, ie for work etc, this is perfect. There is also a pool and gym and the staff are pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely place to stay.

Hotel is in a great location, clean and tidy, it wasn't very busy when I stayed there so I could use the pool and hot tub easily - however I do think in busy times the facilities won't be big enough to accomodate lots of people as they are small.
