Veriu Collingwood

Located in buzzy Collingwood, close enough to the CBD, but not in amongst it, with a wonderful community vibe. Multiple transport options are on your doorstep, making it easy to get into town. Alternatively, it’s an enjoyable walk via Fitzroy or Carlton Gardens if you prefer to explore on foot. Yes, the standard suite is compact, but it’s thoughtfully designed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and always happy to help where they could. The pool was a great bonus—perfect for a refreshing dip. Despite a party outside one night, the glazing did an excellent job keeping things quiet inside. There are only two elevators that could be a problem, but I never had to wait longer than its return from the floor it was on. One of Collingwood’s best cafes is right next door (get in early if you want a table!), and you’re spoiled for choice with fantastic dining options on nearby Smith Street. Being in a lively suburb with a strong sense of community made the experience even better—great food, great atmosphere, and a real local feel. Highly recommend it—I'll stay again!

We loved the friendly staff, amazing amenities and rooftop pool and hot tub. Room was very clean and well laid out with a very comfortable bed. The bathtub was heavenly and a perfect way to unwind after a day of city exploring. Location cannot be beaten in Melbourne in our opinion, located right in the heart of Collingwood with amazing cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Links to the city with public transport make the location very accessible for tourist attractions and trips to the wider suburbs or downtown. Rooms are very fairly priced and we recommend the room with bathtub. We absolutely loved our stay at Veriu and will definitely stay here again.

Veriu hotel is very clean, modern and smells good. Yes, the whole place smells very good, I don't know how but there's this beautiful scent in the entire building including the lift. The room is actually a decent size, I was worried that it may be too small based on previous reviews but I was glad to find out it's perfect for me as a single besides if you are not in the room most of the time, it's not so bad. I liked the jacuzzi after a long day out, nice way to relax before bed but it shuts at 10pm. Great location too of the building, in the heart of Collingwood with lots of restaurants, vegan restaurants, cafés, bars, unique boutiques and supermarkets. You can never run out of option. Tram 86 is only 3 mins walk away and it takes you directly to Carlton gardens and the city in like 15 mins. Staff were friendly and room service was great. Overall I highly recommend Veriu apartment hotel.

I stayed for 3 nights to watch the rugby and can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff were very helpful & the rooms were luxurious. Great location too for the cafes/bars around Fitzroy. Is a little out from the cbd & airport but if you want to watch sport at the mcg and see a different part of Melbourne I would highly recommend

Great staff, easy check in, location superb. The apartment had everything we needed including washer/dryer which was handy. Room service daily was great. It was small but clean, tidy and well presented.
